Local History: Ronald Reagan |
| For all of you that have not visited the Reagan
Library, I would encourage you to take a day and see this exciting trip
down history.
My husband , daughter and I took a day during the week and traveled to Simi Valley to remember history.
President Reagan was known as great orator. Reading and listing to some of his speeches and thoughts, really inspires you.
Taken from the Brochure, I would like to welcome you to the Ronald
Reagan Library. The library opened in 1991. It lays on top of a
mountain with sweeping views of mountains, valleys and the Pacific
Ocean. It lies on 100 acres and it is a 45 minute drive from Los
Angeles.
Follow a young Reagan on his rise from local hero and a college
standout through Hollywood stardom and as a two term governor of
California. Follow his campaign trail and relive his victories as he is
sworn in as the 40th President of the United States. Enter the Oval
Office and watch History unfold as Reagan helps topple the Iron
Curtain. Board Air Force One. See all of the Keepsakes from Rancho del
Cielo, Ronald Reagan's Ranch.
See you there!!!
